Itinerary

Day By Day

Overnight at Nishant bagh. It’s a 45 min drive from the airport to our Homestay near Nishant garden. Explore the Dal lake which is 10 mins walk from the stay
Road journey through some stunning scenic spots like Wular lake and Razdan pass. On the way, stop at Wular Lake — the largest freshwater lake in Asia, a vast haze of greyish blue. Traveling from Razdan, you'll follow a road that leads to the captivating frontier area of Gurez. This enchanting region once thrived as a part of the ancient Silk Route, connecting the Kashmir Valley to Gilgit and the cities of Central Asia beyond. Overnight in Dawar, Gurez
An exciting day of local sightseeing in Dawar Gurez. Your first stop will be the charming town of Dawar, renowned for its archaeological significance. As you wander through its streets, you'll be enchanted by the sight of beautiful log wood houses that dot the landscape. The locals, known as "Dards," are known for their warm and welcoming nature. Take the opportunity to engage with them, learning more about their vibrant local lives and deep-rooted traditions. An equally important destination in Gurez is Tulail, located approximately 32 km from Dawar. To reach Tulail from Dawar, you will embark on a journey that takes you through various scenic villages. The route includes Achoora village, Barnoi, Purana Tulail, Sheikhpora, and Niru. Traverse through some pretty villages and gorgeous Mountain View’s. Overnight at Dawar
The last village before LOC. Be treated to heart warm hospitality and traditional cuisine. Listen to stories of people living so close to the border. Next, you'll visit the majestic Habba Khatoon peak, which stands proudly in its pyramid-like form. This mountain peak holds great historical importance in the region of Kashmir. It derives its name from the legendary Kashmiri poetess, Habba Khatoon. Marvel at the awe-inspiring vistas surrounding you as you bask in the significance of this landmark.
