Step into a location like the one from “The Lord of the Rings” and experience firsthand the lush greenery, craggy mountains, towering snow capped peaks, glaciers and gushing streams that seem to spring from nowhere in the Har ki Dhun Valley. The trek follows the Supin river, tributary of the River Tons and passes through the beautiful villages of this valley to reach the huge rolling meadows at Har-ki-Dun
Duration of Tour: 8 days (excluding travel time to and from dehradhun)

Temperature : 10-12 degrees during the day and 2 – 5 degrees at night

Overnight train to Dehradun
Day 1- Dehradun to Mori (by 4 wheel drive). Camp at Mori by the Tons river.
Day 2- Mori to Taluka by vehicle (1 hr). Taluka to Dharkot-2600mts (3-4 hrs trek). Camping on the lush green meadows.
Day 3- Dharkot to Kalkati Dhar 2950 mtr (5 -6 hrs trek). WE cross the Tamosa river at Osla, a picturesque village and after a steep climb camp at aridge facing the Banderpoonch. Wake upto the sight of glistening snow cap mountains.
Day 4-Kalkati Dhar to Har ki Dhun 3566 mtr (4 -5 hrs). The last climb to HKD is picturesque alongside 2 waterfalls and flowering meadows and a thick forest of Silver fir, Cedar and Oak. This valley is teeming with bird life, blue sheep and langur.
Day 5–Har ki Dhun valley and around Haata. This is exploration day of Jaundhar Glacier or simply chilling at the campsite
Day 6-Har ki Dhun to Kalkati Dhar (6-7 hrs trek).
Day 7-Kalkati Dhar – Seema (3 hr trek ) Overnight at lodge in Seema.
Day 8- Seema to Dehradun (by 4 wheel drive). Overnight train to Delhi
Level of Difficulty
A moderate trek which requires stamina and endurance.
